A great video - thank you! Do you think using front and back pieces of flannel will be enough without having to use an interfacing of sorts? If so, should it be quilted to keep it's shape?

This is the best tutorial for mitered corners and I have used it for several years! I recently lost track of this video and so watched a number of others. None were as straight forward or easy. Thankfully I found it again! :)

Hi, I actually was looking at your baby gown pattern which I am making now. I did have some questions, though. The gowns are really sweet and thank you for them! However, as I watch the instructions online and start to put together the gown, I notice that the seam allowances and widths of the placket and cute collar seem to be wider than I can get by following the measurements for cutting these straight pieces. My placket is a bit narrow and I did cut the collar a little wider, though it could still be wider yet! Also, if you fold over the collar over the seam, you lose some width, too. The photos just look like more fabric and so forth has been allowed. Anyway, I was just wondering. My little gown will turn out sweet and I will probably try another. Any thoughts? Thank you!

this was a good easy way to do this. I’ve been looking at videos like this but they go so fast with matching up various ends and sides and started from the beginning without laying it out first, I wasn’t able to follow along. This explains and shows pretty much what your outcome (should be) before you start sewing. Thank You for it. Can you explain how to add triangle pieces to this square?

do You know what would be great with these videos, if in the beginning or even in the end, you put a chart up with the sizes. It’s very well instructed video, but now we have to go back and look at sizes again.

I likw your pattern. However, you say you had but the stabilizer for the outside pocket at 6X14 but you actually had cut it at 7X12. My bag is wider and shorter than the one yiou make.

Thank you very much for sharing this tip. I was struggling with the hem roller foot I have, and I seemed to be wasting a lot of fabric by making hems that were too big. This is really the Goldilocks method of making napkins!
